Northern Uganda, 2018: There are over 2 Million south Sudanese refugees in Northern Uganda and 85% of those refugees are women and children. There are over four refugee camps resettling these refugees in Northern Uganda. Bidi Bidi refugee camp hosts over 300,000 of those refugees and has become one of the largest refugee camps in the world
EBENEZER GLOBAL is a non-profit organization operating under Help the Least of These and was officially established in the year 2018. It started as a servant leadership training conference organized by Ruth and Joyce Lomo in Bidi Bidi refugee camp in the year 2017. It has now expanded to an organization that provides services to Refugees, individuals, and communities affected by war, poverty, disease, and famine.

Programs and Services - Ebenezer Global Training Center (EGTC), "Empower to Develop"
The Ebenezer Global Training Center (EGTC) is under the ministry, EBENEZER GLOBAL, and it is located along Iyete market road (300m) from the main road in Bidi Bidi zone one. Ebenezer Global Training Center, in accordance with our Mission, Vision and Objectives, provide life skill trainings and to create job opportunities for self-reliance. In 2017, a leadership training conference was held in Bidi Bidi refugee camp and the visiting team were not able to be accommodated in Bidi Bidi due to the lack of space. As a result, the idea of the training center emerged to provide a place for visitors to be accommodated when visiting Bidi Bidi as well as offer skills and leadership training to aid in the development of the refugee and host community. The Ebenezer Global Training Center is comprised of a team of eight steering committee residing in Bidi Bidi and a board of directors residing in Memphis TN, USA
