CHARLESWORTH FAMILY AND ADOPTIONS Our Family's Story: We begin serving as houseparents at a children’s home in rural Belize since 2013. During this time, we provided a safe, nurturing environment and operated the home as a family unit. Together, along with our 3 biological children, we have weathered many seasons with the kids and have walked alongside them as they transitioned from little girls to young women. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow physically and be stretched in their faith; to experience the journey toward academic success; to provide council on the importance of integrity, grit, and grace.
It has become apparent that I was called to bring four of the girls into our family through adoption. Doors were opened, prayers were answered, and God’s voice has been heard. I am happy to announce that we are in the final stages of the process, and that our family of 5 will soon be a family of 9. We are blessed to have the addition of these girls and can’t wait to see how God’s plan for their lives unfolds. Imagine Nine Children and the Reality of Financial Needs to Raise Them: Groceries, Utilities, School Fees, Medical, Transportation; they are all that much more. We only seek help for what is truly needed and appreciate all that is given. |
